MSU-1 GC will perform construction and installation works for a horse riding hall at VDNH. The building area will total 7,774 m2. The arena will be built next to the Centre of National Equestrian Traditions (Pavilions Nos. 41, 42, and 43).
According to Valery Leonov, Chairman of the Moscow Committee for Pricing Policy in Construction and State Project Inspection (Moskomekspertiza), the new arena will host training sessions as well as cultural and sporting events in various disciplines. The stands will seat about 500 people. The spectators will be able to enjoy festivals and celebrations of Russian equestrianism and participate in group and individual horse riding training sessions.
The building will have ventilated curtain walls with natural stone slabs and glass fibre reinforced concrete panels, glazing as well as sheet copper and wood-effect panels. In addition, matte copper piping will be installed as decoration.
The project deadline is late 2024.
