Our role as a general contractor involves conducting field supervision across all project stages and leveraging cutting-edge digital solutions.
Over 24 years of successful work in the Russian construction market, we have set up a single convenient ecosystem from which customers can access real-time updates and reports on project status, managers and employees can manage internal business processes, and subcontractors can use the vast array of MSU-1 GC services to ensure productive multilateral communication.

As a professional and competent participant of investment and construction projects, MSU-1 GC ensures construction organisation, planning, and management are carried out to the highest standard. Our goal is to successfully deliver on projects, which means that all participants must fulfil their obligations on time and in full.
We implement projects of any type and complexity. With more than 12,000 employees skilled in various fields, we perform most project tasks in-house, without resorting to subcontractors.
General design contractor
A strong competitive edge of MSU-1 GC is the fact we can carry out design and field supervision across all stages of construction. From start to finish, all strands of the project are under single-point control, receiving constant attention.
The Company performs technical and cost analysis at the FEED stage, covering construction, façade solutions, and engineering systems. The Company has a competent Tech Council responsible for the corporate technical policy, standardisation, and automation, categorising existing design and technology solutions.
Manufacturer of certain types of building materials
In building materials supply, the Company has virtually no exposure to subcontractors, external factors, and drastic changes in the economic environment. FSK Group manufacturers supply about 50%–60% of concrete for the Company’s construction needs. MSU-1 GC works closely with Guardian Glass, a float glass manufacturer whose Russian assets are owned by the major shareholder of FSK Group.
In 2023, the Company will launch the construction of its own technology park at SEZ Zelenograd to produce building materials for the Group’s internal needs.
Over all the years of operations and development since its inception in 1999, the Group has proved itself to be a stable and sustainable business with a powerful strategy, able to deliver on the most ambitious goals.
Since its inception, MSU-1 GC has worked with more than 90 unique customers.
The list of customers includes large federal and regional clients, such as the Presidential Executive Office, Road and Bridge Construction Department, Russian Ministry of Transport, Rostransmodernizatsiya, and Moscow Renovation Foundation, as well as commercial customers, including AO DSK-1, KR Properties, RG Development, MEI-12 housing co-operative, OOO Edisonenergo, MonArch Group, and many more.
MSU-1 GC deservedly holds one of the leading positions among cross-functional engineering and construction companies in Russia in terms of stability. We have been operating for almost a quarter of a century without loss. The success of the group of companies in achieving its goals was assessed by the business community: in terms of open bank guarantees, the group is among the top 3 most reliable construction companies in Russia.
The key to the dynamic development of MSU-1 GC was digital maturity, innovation, using of the most advanced construction technologies and the latest IT developments, and the construction of a single digital ecosystem for customers, contractors and employees.
MSU-1 GC ranked fifth by construction volumes among all Russian developers in 2021 and became a leader among private companies primarily focused on residential construction. For MSU-1 GC, however, this is only one of our core business areas.
Our Group has the most diversified order book across the whole Russian market, with more than 200 projects varying in scale, investment size, type, geography, and complexity.
Currently, the company's portfolio contains more than 170 different active and promising objects with a total area of 5 million m2. These cover residential projects – from elite houses to entire neighbourhoods under the capital renovation programme in Moscow, public and industrial buildings, multi-purpose centres, roads, infrastructure facilities, complex hydraulic structures, and airports. MSU-1 GC is also engaged in science-based restoration projects for buildings that are part of Russia’s cultural heritage. The Company’s portfolio of active and completed projects includes absolutely unique ones, such as the Rzhev Memorial to the Soviet Soldier, the Krasnogorsk-based Lapino Hospital (the largest children’s hospital in the Moscow Region), Hospital with a Polyclinic of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation in the very centre of Moscow, the Gorodetsky complex of hydraulic structures, the Cosmos pavilion and the Golden Spike restaurant at VDNH, Kapitza Lyceum in Dolgoprudny, Talagi Airport in Arkhangelsk, the Children’s Musical Theatre of Young Actors in Moscow, and many more.
