MSU-1 GC completed phase 2 construction of the Lapino Hospital, an advanced multidisciplinary medical centre in an elite and environmentally friendly district of the Moscow Region. The facility was built using building information modelling (BIM) technologies which enable highly effective management of the construction process
The hospital boasts a surgery with a polyclinic, laboratories, operating and diagnostic blocks, an at-grade car park, a boiler facility, and a transformer substation. The building houses a 120-bed inpatient care unit, eight operating rooms with capacity for 12,000 operations per year, a radiology centre, flexible endoscopy rooms, a kidney dialysis centre, a dental care and oral and maxillofacial surgery department, and a surgical laboratory. The new building is connected to the existing perinatal centre by walkways on the underground, first, and fourth floors. The premises also include a five-storey above-ground car park with a usable roof, a one-storey boiler facility, and a transformer substation with mechanical and utility rooms.
The new building houses an advanced oncology centre, which provides a full range of medical care in line with latest healthcare standards, from screening and diagnosis verification to high-tech oncological surgery and follow-up rehabilitation.
