Functions of the general design contractor
In addition to supervising and amending the construction or refurbishment process throughout the entire course of works, the general design contractor also keeps a working group of designers on-site who can quickly adjust the project in line with changing construction/refurbishment requirements as necessary. The same group identifies and corrects errors and closes gaps during construction. The general design contractor thus helps private developers to save money. When all the work is completed, the general design contractor is usually involved in delivering the project to the client alongside the general construction contractor and the general supplier.
