MSU-1 GC will build and refurbish the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts buildings located on Volkhonka Street. The project area will total 49,903 m2.
The future project will combine the isolated museum buildings on Volkhonka Street and adjacent streets into a new single museum complex. All museum facilities, including the Repository of Collections and Restoration and Exhibition Centre, will be connected not only through design but also by a network of above-ground and underground passages. At the same time, the project envisages preserving the historical layout of the neighbourhood, in terms of both architectural monuments and ordinary urban buildings.
The final project deadline is June 2028.
