About project

MSU-1 GC is delivering comprehensive upgrades of hydraulic infrastructure at the Moscow Basin of Inland Waterways. Although all the mechanisms and structures of the Moscow Canal had been functioning fault-free for over 80 years, they were in need of a large-scale upgrade. Currently, the canal is the largest waterway offering public navigation and the largest public supplier of water resources in the Moskva River basin’s internal water bodies. In addition, the Moscow Canal supplies water for the capital city’s needs and replenishes the Moskva River.
