President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin visited the Leonid Roshal Children's Clinical Center in Krasnogorsk. The President of the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology Leonid Mikhailovich Roshal, the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Yuryevich Vorobyov and the head physician of the center, Doctor of Medical Sciences Tatyana Vladimirovna Shapovalenko, also attended the meeting. A team of specialists of the MSU-1 Group of Companies carried out the construction of this important facility for the Moscow region. The hospital, built and staffed in accordance with modern standards, is already preparing to receive the first patients.
Doctors of the Children's Clinical Center told the head of state in detail about the possibilities of the institution. The new center will employ more than 1.6 thousand highly qualified medical specialists with unique knowledge and skills from all over Russia. The center will assist patients in 28 medical areas. A helipad for air ambulance is provided on the roof of the hospital, and modern equipment will allow for complex and unique operations. The center will also have its own on-site resuscitation service.
Leonid Mikhailovich Roshal noted that this flagship medical center is able to compete with any children's medical institution in the country. Andrey Yuryevich Vorobyov thanked the President for supporting the project in 2019 and everyone who contributed to the construction and opening of the clinical center: «Children from all over Russia will be able to receive high-quality medical care here», — the governor added.
