The Company completed the overhaul of Pavilion No. 37, Poultry, at VDNH, launched in 2021. The scope of works included repairing the façade, roof, glazing, and all utility systems. One of the key project goals was to upgrade the pavilion and adapt it to new purposes and modern needs.
“We have revamped the building, adapting it for modern use and installing a lot of multimedia. For the exterior, we, in fact, preserved the building’s appearance while providing better thermal insulation. We reinforced all the load-bearing structures and completely replaced the internal ones,” said Kirill Bakakin, the project director at MSU-1 GC.
Alexander Tarasov, Deputy CEO of VDNH, spoke about future plans to expand the exhibition space: “Until the overhaul began in 2021, the pavilion had served as a warehouse, meaning it was not part of VDNH’s event agenda. As the exhibition area moves further and further away from the main entrance, the key challenge for us now is to invite as many visitors here, to the western part, as possible.”
