On September 1, the largest school of the Moscow region opened in Gusarskaya Ballada microdistrict. The school, designed for 2,200 people, received the name of the great Russian commander Pyotr Ivanovich Bagration. Its opening was attended by the head of the Odintsovo district Andrey Ivanov, the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov, as well as the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin — via video link.
"The educational center, which we named after our great commander Bagration became the largest in the Moscow region and the third largest in Russia. You can estimate the scale of the work yourself. Building with an area of 30.000 square meters. Eighty-eight classrooms. Workshops, computer science rooms of new generation, a concert hall for 600 spectators, four sports halls, a dining room for 800 people. A huge sports core with its own stadium. But the main thing, of course, is not the scale, but what will happen inside”, — said Andrey Ivanov. The head of the district also said that a very professional pedagogical team has been formed in the educational center, which will allow the school to become one of the strongest not only in Odintsovo district, but also throughout the Moscow region.
Over 24 thousand of people live in the Gusarskaya Ballada residential complex, located in the Odintsovo district. In 2019, all 29 apartment buildings planned for the project were commissioned over here, but there were not enough social facilities. With the participation of the Moscow region in 2023, a second kindergarten was built in the microdistrict, and on September 1, the Bagration educational center was opened. Previously, children had to travel for studying in other areas of Odintsovo.
"The developer at one time left people without money, their legal apartments and social facilities. We solved the problem of equity holders, built a kindergarten, soon we will begin to build a clinic and today we opened the school. This is a very important and truly long-awaited event", — Andrey Vorobyov emphasized.
It was MSU-1 GC that completed the construction and improvement of the Bagration school. The project consists of 88 study rooms, including 34 rooms for primary school students, 10 rooms for teaching mathematics, four rooms for studying physics, served with advanced interactive equipment, and 8 computer science rooms provided by digital laboratories. Also implemented culinary, locksmith, carpentry workshops, psychological and speech therapy rooms, a center for children's initiatives, four gyms, an assembly hall for 600 students, a dining room for 800 seats, and a library with an IT zone. A stadium with a football field, areas for moving games and recreation are also available for students.
