Lipetskaya grade-separated crossing, the main southern gate of Moscow with access to the federal M-4 Don highway, is opened after reconstruction. The ceremony was attended by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. All work on the facility ended a year ahead of schedule.
Previously, the Lipetskaya grade-separated crossing was the clover-leaf interchange. Thereby, a large number of vehicles accumulated on it, traffic jams formed. Now, after reconstruction, there are new exits towards the region from the Moscow Ring Road, new ramps onto Lipetskaya Street towards the center and towards the Warsaw Highway. The exit from the outside of the Moscow Ring Road to the M-4 Don highway was also reconstructed.
The reconstruction of the Lipetskaya grade-separated crossing is a very important project, which, according to Sergei Sobyanin, contributes to improving the road situation in Western and Eastern Biryulyovo and nearby areas of the Moscow region.
