On September 12, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin opened the first phase of the Mamyry — Penino — Sharapovo highway, which is being built by MSU-1 Group of Companies. The road is about 10 km long. In his welcoming speech, Sergey Sobyanin called the construction of a backup for the Kaluga highway one of the priority projects within the framework of the TNAD development program.
The road from Mamyry to Sharapovo will run parallel to the Kaluga highway. It stretches from the village of Mosrentgen Plant towards Troitsk to the road connecting the Ukraine M-3 and Kaluga highway. As a result of the backup appearance, the Kaluga highway will be unloaded, the transport situation in such settlements as the village of Mosrentgen Plant, Mamyry, Nikolo-Khovanskoye, Letovo and Penino will improve.
Specialists of the MSU-1 Group of Companies erected four artificial structures, reconstructed 115 km of utilities and installed noise screens on the sides of the route.
According to the press service of the Moscow building sector, with the launch of the first phase, the readiness of the entire backup of the Kaluga highway was 60%. Currently, the design of the remaining two sections of the road with a total length of 12.2 kilometers is underway.
