The Rimsky housing development is an Italian-style residential quarter with medium-rise buildings, located in Moscow Region’s Leninsky District. The property was designed by Mikhail Filippov’s Workshop. The buildings are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete, ventilated curtain walls are clad with aged stone. The four squares envisaged by the project (Tsentralnaya, Gorodskaya, Garmonii, and Iskusstv) are intended to be the hubs of business and recreation activities for the quarter’s residents. The quarter’s site plan includes 22 residential buildings and divides the grounds into two levels. The top level houses areas for recreation and sports, walking alleys, and children’s playgrounds. The bottom level is designed to host car parks, driveways, shops, beauty parlours, and other amenities. The property will comprise a kindergarten and a school for 1,510 children.
