FSK Group has completed in-situ concrete works at the last two buildings (6 and 7) of the Skandinavsky housing development in the Mytishchi District, Moscow Region. The builders have fully completed the structures of the nine-storey buildings and are now working on the roofing, façades, utilities, and interiors of common areas. The 300-plus-flat development is planned for commissioning in the third quarter of 2023.
The project also includes a school for 500 students and a childcare centre for 240 children. The school is now up to the façade stage. Its premises will have a stadium with a football pitch as well as various sports grounds and playgrounds. Works at the childcare centre project are nearing completion: the façades are finished, glazing is ready, on-site utility systems are installed and are now being tested. The interior finishing is almost complete; the rooms are being fitted with equipment. After commissioning, both social facilities will become municipal property.
The Skandinavsky housing development is a comfort-class residential construction project developed by FSK Group in the village of Borodino, the Mytishchi District, Moscow Region. The project was designed by the Swedish studio Semrén & Månsson. The housing development will include six residential buildings (five are commissioned so far), a school, and a childcare centre.
The design concept is the Scandinavian lifestyle. The area improvement plans envisage playgrounds, year-round landscaping, pedestrian zones, and bicycle paths. The Scandinavian aesthetics are further reflected in the project’s proximity to the Mytishchinsky woodland, which makes the housing development not only comfortable but also environmentally clean.
