Anna Evgrafova, head of the MSU-1 GC project management office, attended an off-site conference for developers in the UAE. MSU-1 GC was invited by Daichi.
The conference participants visited the Dubai office of the Chinese company Midea, the world’s largest manufacturer of air conditioning equipment, and a facility in Abu Dhabi with equipment to maintain a comfortable temperature in a 250,000+ m2 shopping centre even when the outside temperature reaches 50 °C.
Colleagues from China also spoke about other advanced technologies used at facilities to control room temperature and humidity from a smartphone or by voice commands. When designing equipment, the company pays particular attention to energy saving and CO2 emissions.
“Apart from MSU-1 GC, the four-day conference was attended by KR Properties, Capital Group, Sminex, and several design organisations. In addition to the official events, we used our time in Abu Dhabi to visit the world’s sixth-largest mosque, the observation deck of the world's tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa (on the 148th floor at a height of 555 m), the Museum of the Future, and an off-road safari in the desert,” said Anna Evgrafova.
