FSK Region, part of FSK Group, held a meeting with Alexander Tsybulsky, Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region. The conversation took place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2023.
The two sides discussed the capabilities of FSK Region in integrated territory development and the scope for applying this expertise across the region. The potential partnership may involve several prospective projects.
“Housing construction is a key priority for the Arkhangelsk Region. Our primary objective is to implement the Programme of Resettling the Region’s Residents from Unsafe Housing under the Housing and Urban Environment national project. We are successfully delivering on this objective and intend to complete phase 1 of the Programme one year ahead of schedule, in 2024. Going forward, phase 2 of the Programme will envisage the resettlement of residents from double the area of unsafe housing covered by phase 1 (more than 800,000 m2); this includes houses condemned as unsafe and dilapidated after 1 January 2017. On top of this, we are launching comprehensive area development projects across the region, particularly in its major cities, Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk, to promote the development of the housing market in the region,” said Alexander Tsybulsky.
Alexey Almazov, FSK Group’s Managing Partner for the Regions segment, and Roman Kapinos, FSK Region’s First Deputy General Director, represented FSK Region at the meeting.
“During the meeting, we discussed improving the quality and comfort of the local urban environment as well as business support measures for integrated area development projects being implemented in the Arkhangelsk Region. As developers, we deem it important to understand the region’s priorities and identify potential options for further cooperation. At the same time, the discussion gave us an opportunity to showcase our competences and capabilities,” said Alexey Almazov.
FSK Region, established in April 2022, is part of FSK Group. Its core activity is residential construction as well as high-comfort apartment/hotel projects in the Russian regions.
FSK Group is one of the largest development companies, with projects in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the Moscow, Leningrad, and Kaluga Regions as well as the Krasnodar Territory. Its core business is the construction of housing (comfort and business classes), commercial property, and transport and social infrastructure. In 2022, ACRA, a Russian rating agency, affirmed FSK Group’s credit rating at A– (RU) with a stable outlook. In 2022, the Group’s revenue exceeded RUB 174 billion, which is relatively flat year-on-year.
