About project

The new road passes through the Bogorodskoye, Golyanovo, and Metrogorodok Districts in the Eastern Administrative Area of Moscow. The highway includes a 1-km long elevation and a double-deck tunnel with lanes in each direction lying above and below the existing overpass at the Otkrytoye Highway.

The project involved laying 20 km of new utility lines and installing automated traffic enforcement photo and video cameras. To record unlawful interference with the equipment, the overpass has more than 90 round-the-clock video cameras that send images to an automated control room operated by Gormost for storage.
The video cameras cover both the bridge and the space underneath.
