EKF Company, a Russian manufacturer of electrical equipment and solutions based on it, became a partner of the developer FSK Group of Companies. As part of the collaboration, the company is equipping buildings of the Sydney City premium residential complex.
Due to the existing restrictions and the departure of imported manufacturers, FSK specialists together with partners developed and implemented reliable, modern and energy-efficient solutions for the Sydney City residential complex. One of the key vendors was EKF.
The project uses:
- Integrated solution for main distribution boards (MDB) and input distribution devices (IDB). Circuit breakers with additional contacts together with the PRO-Logic controller allow you to implement automation, monitoring and remote system control.
- Equipment for M&E sections (internal electrical lighting and power equipment), easy-to-install metal trays and fire-safe corrugated pipes for cable laying, distribution boards, lighting boards, floor distribution boards with EKF modular equipment.
- The apartments provide exclusive Nova apartment shields with EKF equipment and electrical installation products.
- Automation and power supply of individual heating stations (IHS) and boiler houses: control cabinets, body frames, switches, relay automation. EKF frequency converters (FC) are also used, which replaced the European competitor’s FC used in the project.
- Due to building safety, an integrated solution for lightning protection of the EKF DOME system was used. Lightning immunity elements and roofing holders were supplied.
- Equipment for low-current systems and outdoor lighting by EKF.
Main distribution boards (MDB) with the PRO-Logic controller ensures uninterrupted power supply. The system invigilates the state of the power grid and, in case of poor power supply and its complete absence, switches to the backup input. The apartment board, implemented in the NOVA shell, allows residents to get the organization of power and low-current power in a single space. EKF products in IHS ensure uninterrupted supply of heat to residents.
The Sydney City premium housing estate is being developed in the concept of all-round human well-being. In addition to modern residential buildings, the complex will have all the necessary infrastructure, including a family entertainment center, places for quiet walks and active sports. Walking areas and bike paths will be equipped on the territory, modern and safe children's and sports grounds will appear in the courtyards of blocks. In addition, the developer will build a park with an area of 1.5 hectares with a boardwalk and access to the Moscow River. Sydney City is scheduled to be completed in 2028.
